The carne asada, in particular, is a fan favorite-tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. The al pastor is another must-try, with its delicious marinated pork cooked on a spit and served with a hint of sweetness and spice. Each taco is topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime, giving it that burst of freshness you crave in every bite.

But the menu doesn't stop at tacos. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also try the burritos, tortas, or quesadillas, all of which are equally impressive. The burritos are stuffed to the brim with your choice of meat and loaded with all the traditional fixings like rice, beans, and salsa. The quesadillas are a crispy, cheesy delight, and the tortas come with a generous portion of meat, served on soft bread that's just the right amount of toasted.

The salsa here deserves a mention of its own. It’s fresh, flavorful, and adds the perfect amount of heat to any dish you choose. Whether you're a fan of mild or spicy, there’s a salsa for every taste.

What People's Say About Place

Did a Taco Tuesday Taco crawl. This was stop number one. Def worth the money spent. Drive thru is convenient.

Not as bad as some claim, I'd still choose this over Taco Bell unless the wallet is an issue. I ordered a Tripe Burrito, not as much meat as one would expect but it's definitely a balance. The red salsa is delicious I should have asked for 2, the burrito was great there is salt and pepper if you think or feel it's bland. I personally didnt. Hungry people aren't picky is what my Grandma would say. Overall 4 on my book the ambience could be better with some plants. Good to keep on mind they have a drive thru as well and Taco Tuesdays tacos are 1.50$ each.

This is my go to spot for taco Tuesday.. granted I’m a white gal.. I think this place is great!! I’ve tried lots of truck tacos but gotta say these rank pretty hi! A plate this big full of meat for 10 bucks!! Can’t go wrong !

I have passed by this place forever and finally stopped here yesterday after a day at nearby Sunset State Beach. I am kicking myself for not visiting this place sooner but I will make it a point to stop here for quick eats in the future. No. 1: it has a drive-thru! After soaking in the sun and waves, and getting in our steps, we just wanted a place with a drive-thru. To get to their drive-thru and parking lot, it's best to enter from westbound Hwy 129. No. 2: their menu was easy to read and everything looked delish but we settled on two chicken tacos and 1 super burrito with chicken but no sour cream. No. 3: THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! I swear my vision cleared with each bite! Perfectly seasoned, tender, juicey, savory chicken with finely chopped onions and pickled carrots on my tacos. Munchkin ate possibly the biggest super burrito he has ever had, filled with chicken, rice, beans... more. He ate it so fast, I didn't get to see much of his burrito's innards. I guess I should have taken a bite when he offered because he sucked it down like a water moccasin! I definitely wish I ordered a couple more tacos. But it was enough to get us home without the empty stomach shakes. No. 4: I told munchkin that the next time we want tacos and burritos, I will gladly make the drive just for this place. It is THAT GOOD! This place is THE mic drop on fast Mexican food! Hands down!!! (Sorry, no pictures this time because we were so hungry.)

Indoor seating, great food, huge portions. Can’t miss.

I love this place! There are so many authentic Mexican restaurants in the area & taco trucks, and so many have great food. But Tacos El Jaliscience stands above the rest. I usually get chicken tacos. And I don't know what it is, but they always have this spicy(to me, lol) brown sauce - almost like a salsa/gravy or a salsa with the meat juices? It's so good. They have some seating inside, and a drive thru - which is rare combo. The prices are really good too. But the best part about this place is the people! They have always been super nice, helpful, willing to help you decide what you want and get things how you want them. Also, in October of 2022, I was walking on Riverside Dr and had a minor health emergency, and happened to go to the ground right by the door to this place. A lady that worked there was on break and came out and checked on me, told me I could come in and sit, and offered me water. It wasn't a heart attack or super serious, but still, in today's world it was so nice to see people that care and willing to help a stranger.

More or less like a 3 1/2 stars the food was good tasted delicious I did notice how big the restaurant looks outside but inside the max cap is 25 when the kitchen takes like the whole space

The food portions are fine. I guess u get what u pay for. Its very tasty dont get me wrong its good and the best part is its Drive thru. So the location is a bit small but it makes it up with the fast service. I recommend this place.
